BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A psychiatrist at the state mental health hospital has found a Boulder County woman charged in her infant son's death to be legally insane.

The Daily Camera reports that prosecutors say they haven't had time to fully review the report on Stephanie Rochester. She's accused of smothering her infant son she says she believes was autistic.

Prosecutors have filed a motion saying they are considering doing their own evaluation of the Superior woman.

Rochester has pleaded guilty by reason of insanity to first-degree murder in the death of her 6-month-old son, Rylan, last year. Police say Rochester told them she smothered her son because she believed he was autistic and didn't think she and her husband could handle a disabled child.

Her trial is set to start in February.
