Doctors in Parker had to remove a moth from a 12-year-old boy's ear with tweezers.

The moth crawled into the boy's ear Sunday night after he fell asleep. He awoke screaming and crying. After trying to remove it at home, unsuccessfully, his mom was forced to take him into the emergency room for help.

The doctors tried numbing his ear and then drowning it to kill the moth, but that didn't work so they finally just grabbed some tweezers and pulled it out alive.

According to KUSA-TV, doctors put it in a cup to give the boy as a keepsake.
