Weather - Forecast

May 16, 2013 9:40 AM by Stephen Bowers

Mostly dry today, but a few showers can't be ruled out

Today will be warm and breezy, especially this afternoon, with temperatures warming into the high 70's around Colorado Springs, mid-to-upper 80's for Pueblo and Canon City, near 90 for the Southeastern Plains, 60's for Teller County, and near 70 for the Wet Mountains.

A few showers cannot be ruled out this afternoon, although most of us likely will not see any rain today or tomorrow. Any showers that do develop will likely begin in the mountains before moving out to the I-25 corridor and fading away this evening.

Tomorrow will be even more dry with warmer temperatures. Rain and wind return to the forecast for Saturday as a disturbance over California early Thursday moves through Colorado. Cooler air will follow the passage of that disturbance.
