Morgan County marijuana dispensary ban until 2011

Morgan County officials have approved a moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries until July 2011.
The county commissioners who voted this week on the matter say they need time to adapt to the new regulations in a bill state lawmakers passed this session. Gov. Bill Ritter has not signed the bill yet but is expected to.
The bill would give cities and counties the power to ban dispensaries. Several Colorado cities and counties issued moratoriums on dispensaries in the past year to wait for guidance from the state Legislature.
