More water in the air=changes in the weather

Air with more water in it than the single-digit relative humidities we've seen over the past few days is edging into the News 5 viewing area hour by hour. That will mean more clouds and areas of fog overnight, especially towards sunrise on Tuesday. After some sunshine, thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon, most likley over the southeastern plains, but possible for all of us. Expect another layer of low clouds and fog Wednesday morning, with a better chance for thunderstorms. First thing Thursday morning, a cold front will cross the mountains, bringing gusty winds (calming later) and cooler temperatures through Friday. Over the weekend, highs will be below average, with a chance for showers each day.
