More strong/damaging winds into Thursday morning

With the jet stream overhead, and a cold front approaching, winds have been as strong as 80 mph for some of us, the the gusts will continue into Thursday morning. After the front moves by (between 3 and 5 in the morning), winds will slowly die down, temperatures will fall, and some snowflakes will fly (especially along the Palmer Divide and in Teller County). Thursday's highs will fall to the 30s/40s.  Expect more sunshine, lighter winds and no big change in temperatures on Friday, increasing clouds, wind and temps on Saturday (50s/60s), and then another cold front will drop those highs back into the 40s, with a 20% chance for some rain/snow showers on Sunday.
