The active weather will continue into the weekend.
In the near term, skies will become mostly clear overnight with morning lows in the 50s/60s.
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon and evening through Sunday particularly for the mountains and Front Range. They will be scattered in nature dropping heavy rain at times and producing frequent lightning as well. Small hail and gusty winds are also a possibility with any storm that develops.
If you live in or around the area burn scars, stay alert for the possibility of flash flooding over the next few days.
Storm chances will start to drop off into the workweek next week. Expect highs in the 80s/90s along and east of the Front Range over the next 7 days.
