The threat for heavy rain will again be the feature through the evening hours of Sunday and into the afternoon and evening hours of Monday. Plenty of monsoonal moisture has allowed thunderstorms to be heavy rain makers. These storms could produce localized flash flooding with their slow moving nature. Daytime temperatures on Monday will again be on the cool side with abundant cloud cover and damp air limiting daytime heating. Drier air will begin to move in a soon as Tuesday. The dry air will put the chance for daytime storms on hold until next weekend.
