TODAY: Weather today sounds a lot like yesterday. Temps almost exactly the same and another chance of a few storms...especially most likely along I-25 and back to the foothills. 30% chance for the Springs, Canon City and the Wet & Sangre de Cristo Mountains...30-40% chance for Monument and Teller County. For places like Pueblo, Walsenburg and Trinidad the chances today and this evening will be at 20% or less. Chances in La Junta and Lamar are at 10% or less. By the way....another snow shower is possible over Pikes Peak by around lunch time, though it is not as likely as yesterday.
TONIGHT: Storms ending from the northwest to the southeast after the sun sets. Slight chance of a few linger showers over the southern mountains west of Trinidad after midnight.
FRIDAY: Tomorrow will be quite a bit like today as well. Mid 80's in the Springs....lower 90's in Pueblo and another round of a few storms during the afternoon and evening. Slightly lower chance around El Paso County and Colorado Springs...about 20%. 30% again for Teller County and the Rampart Range. 20% chance for our neighbors in Trinidad, Pueblo and Canon City.
SATURDAY-MONDAY: It will be a little toastier with temps in the upper 80's in the Springs and middle 90's in Pueblo for the weekend. Chances of storms will stay at 20% for both cities during the afternoon and early evening. A little better chance each day in and over the mountains as more monsoon moisture increases in the high country. Morning weather will be nice and quiet...chances of storms increase during the afternoon and the temperatures rise. Monday temps should be a couple of degrees below the hot highs Saturday and Sunday.
