The chance for more showers will continue overnight, but the odds lower as we continue through the night. So don't expect much after midnight. Then on Sunday, it's back to the same old, same old. Meaning some sunshine to start the day, followed by increasing clouds, and then pop-up showers and t-storms into the afternoon and evening. We're not expecting any severe weather, but like the past couple days, if it pops-up in the right spot at the right time, it could cause some flooding.
Monday the chances for showers start to lessen - down to 10-20%. This means many of us will stay dry, but for the few locations that will see the rain, it sure will dampen any Memorial Day plans. The earlier, the better for the good weather on Monday.
Once we get through Monday, a mid-level storm will finally have moved to our east. This will allow for us to dry out for a few days and really warm up. Tuesday through Thursday, the heat will crank up here in Colorado. So it'll be a good time for the kids to get a running start for the pool.
The end of next week, there is another storm system to watch. It may be bringing us some showers for next weekend.
Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
