Today will be warmer with highs in the lower 60's around Colorado Springs, near 70 around Pueblo, and 50's in higher elevations like Monument, Woodland Park, and Cripple Creek. While rain will be less widespread and not as many people are likely to see rain today, spotty to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around. That's especially true this afternoon and this evening. Showers will fade away overnight, but they could be back tomorrow. They will be spotty in nature again, but we will dry out and begin warming on Sunday.
Many in our area could warm into the 80's by early next week. Some locations could warm to near 90 by Tuesday, especially in the Plains.
