Two more skunks have tested positive for rabies in Pueblo County. Both skunks were picked up east of the City of Pueblo after behaving strangely.
Neither skunk had known contact with humans or pets.
"It is important for people to stay away from wild mammals, especially during daylight hours, as rabies is in Pueblo," stated Vicki Carlton, Consumer Protection Manager in the Environmental Health Division at the Pueblo City-County Health Department.
One of the skunks was found on Ashley Lane, the other near 30th Lane and Everett Road.
