TODAY: Much milder temps along the Front Range to start the last day of the month of January. High will be at least 6-8 degrees warmer this afternoon compared to highs on Wednesday. 43 in Colorado Springs...47 in Pueblo and about 50 in Canon City. There will be a little bit of a west/northwesterly breeze to start the day and then plenty of sun and lighter winds later today. Snow and wind in the mountains to our north and west will decrease and come to an end late today.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, calmer and colder tonight. Temps around 20 in the Springs and at Ft. Carson...mid 20's in Canon City to around only 14 in Pueblo.
FRIDAY-SATURDAY: Here comes February and here come the warmer temps! Tomorrow and the weekend begin with sunny skies and temps that should be another 6-8 degrees warmer for all of us compared to today. The only chance of any precip the next few days around the state will be a very slight chance of light snow in the central mountains of Colorado. Minimal to no accumulations are expected.
SUNDAY-WEDNESDAY: A big warming trend will start Sunday and last through most of, if not all of next week! Expect plenty of sun all four days and temperatures warming from the upper 50's in the Springs and lower 60's in Pueblo on Sunday, to temps in the 60's in the Springs to near 70 in Pueblo by Wednesday!
