The owner and employees of an auto shop cleaned up today after an investigation into alleged fraud. Meanwhile, police receive another 50 new complaints-now a total of 100. Gegory Ehnes is the owner of Springs Transmission and Automotive. Police suspect him of taking money from customers without completely and properly repairing cars. He tells News 5 it's true he's had workmanship problems but he's let go of bad employees and hired new ones recently. He also admits he does install used parts but says it's only for those who can't afford news ones. Still, he knows the worst may come.
"I believe in God," Ehnes said. "I believe things will work out right. I'm expecting it and if I get arrested, that's the way this goes."
Police say the investigation is just starting. If you have one regarding Springs Transmissions and Automotive, call CSPD at 444-7000.
