Ahoy maties! It's a spooktacular night of fun for the whole family in the Jackson Creek neighborhood of Monument tonight; neighbors put on a reenactment of the Pirates of the Caribbean battle scene.

It's the fifth year in a row neighbors have come out to assemble a full-sized pirate ship, complete with smoke machines, battle music, haunted tours, and treasure for all. The undead fought alongside little pirates in a life-like battle between the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman.

More than a thousand people came out from all over Colorado, traveling from as far as Denver, Peyton, and Pueblo to take part in the ghoulish show.

The party will keep kickin' until 9:00 tonight. but if you missed it this year, don't worry. The pirates say they'll lay siege upon Larimer Cove again next Halloween.
