An area of low pressure kicked up the wind last night and early this morning. Gusts were reported in the 50-60 mph range from midnight to 4 AM. While that wind will slacken, it will not going away and likely will remain gusty at times today. It's a downslope wind that will keep the air dry and help to drive temperatures up. That wind could also kick up dust and lower visibility. Many of us will climb easily into the 60's this afternoon.
We stay unseasonably warm and breezy through Wednesday. The breeze backs off after Wednesday, but wintry weather will return.
