Monday Weather: Snowy periods with flurries in between

Monday started with snow spots, but the snow will reduce to spotty flurries after 7 AM. Otherwise we will be cold and cloudy and, at times, breezy. High temperatures will be in the 20's in most areas with lower 30's in areas where sun can break through the clouds. After 12-2 PM, snow starts picking up again and could make for a sloppy evening commute. Then after 5 PM, the snow fades away again only to pick up again after 2 AM. Most of that Tuesday snow will be limited to the early morning, and by the time the thickest part of the morning commute is underway, the snow likely will be finished.

All totaled, snow will pile up to 1-3", so we are not looking at a major storm. It's just enough snow to make for an uneasy commute at times. Remember to layer up, too! We will stay cold until Wednesday.
