Periodic snow will continue today, though the snow will not be constant and will be primarily focused on northern El Paso County, Teller County, and in the Wets and Sangres.
Down in elevation from those areas, clouds will begin to break apart after noon today, allowing for some sun to shine through. That sun will help to boost the temperatures, and the sunny spots along the Arkansas River and the Southeast Plains will be able to warm into the 40's this afternoon. Areas where the clouds hold on, including most areas near and west of I-25, will struggle to even touch 40 degrees.
Tomorrow will still be cool, but we will start to warm. The warming will be more noticeable beginning Wednesday, and the week will end with 70's for a lot of Southeastern Colorado.
