Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker suffered his second concussion in three weeks Sunday. He'll now go through the NFL's concussion protocol and is unlikely to play in Denver's Thursday night game against the Chargers.
In response to his concussion, national sports columnist Jeff Pearlman wrote an open letter to Welker, urging him to retire, immediately (warning-the article contains some strong language).
In the article, Pearlman says: "You suffered a concussion--your second of the season, you're what--eighth, ninth, tenth of your career. You keep coming back, and coming back, and coming back, and the analysts and color commentators routinely praise you courage and toughness. Well, I don't think you're courageous, or tough. I think you're (bleeping stupid)."
In this week's Monday Night Quarterback question, we ask you, "In the interest of his health and well-being, should Wes Welker retire...right now?"
