Monday Night QB - Mike Shanahan's gamble

Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan is taking major heat Monday for allowing his quarterback, Robert Griffin III, to stay in Sunday's game, despite obviously playing in pain. MRI results Monday showed Griffin has two knee tears--in both his MCL and LCL.

Griffin said he wanted to play and doctors cleared him to play before the game, despite a prior knee injury. However, is was the former Broncos coach, Mike Shanahan, who had the final say in playing RG3.
