The mother and grandmother of a two year old boy who went missing this afternoon in Colorado Springs will face misdemeanor charges of neglect.
Investigators suspect Sierra Lugo-Rodriguez, 19 and Donna Quintana, 44 left the boy at a pawn shop in the 400 block of North Chelton Road sometime around 2:00 p.m.
Quintana called the police to report the boy as missing from her home in the 1300 block of E. 2nd Street at around 2:55 p.m.
Officers searched the area on foot with police dogs for about an hour when the pawn shop owner called to report that the child was in his store.
The boy, named Jose, was unharmed. The pawn shop owner told officers he was watching television.
