Mitt Romney headed to Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Mitt Romney is making his first campaign stop of 2012 in Colorado Springs.

Romney has been a frequent visitor to Colorado for fundraisers, but Saturday's campaign stop at a Colorado Springs business is Romney's first campaign stop seeking caucus support. Republicans hold precinct caucuses on Tuesday.

Romney won Colorado's GOP caucuses with 60 percent of the vote in 2008. Analysts will be watching to see whether his support has waned after heavy campaigning in Colorado by Romney's rivals, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul.

Santorum planned three campaign events in Colorado Saturday, with stops in Golden, Loveland and Greeley.
