Missing Pueblo man died in crash

A missing Pueblo man has been found dead by the Colorado State Patrol. Troopers say 51 year old Steven Michael Casias crashed his truck early Tuesday on Highway 160 about 20 miles west of Walsenburg, near La Veta Pass, in Huerfano County.

Troopers say Casias's truck left the roadway, and rolled several times before careening 200 feet down an embankment. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck. The accident scene was discovered Wednesday evening.

According to the State Patrol Casias was the subject of a missing person's report filed earlier in the week with the Pueblo Police Department.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
