Missing Black Forest children found unhurt

Update: The two children have been found are are unhurt, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

EL PASO COUNTY - Two children are missing in the Black Forest area, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. The children were playing in a playhouse in the 11500 block of Windmill Rd. when their mother went to check on them. After realizing that they were not there, she called the Sheriff's Office.

An emergency alert went out to a 5 mile radius around the house.

The first child is a 10 year-old-boy, weighing 70 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a bright yellow jacket.

The second child is a 13-year-old girl, 5'7" tall, weighing 90 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a purple jacket and white nightgown.

Anyone with information about these children are asked to call 911.
