Minnesota routs Colorado College 9-4

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Freshman forward Nate Condon had two goals and three assists and Jacob Cepis added a goal and three assists as Minnesota rolled to a 9-4 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over Colorado College on Saturday.

The Golden Gophers (5-3-0, 3-3-0) have won three straight games after losing three in a row. They swept the Tigers (3-4-1, 1-3-0) thanks to Friday's 4-1 win.

Minnesota outshot Colorado College 44-28. The Gophers had 17 shots on goal in each of the last two periods.

Colorado College goalie Joe Howe gave up three goals on 10 shots in the first period and was replaced in the second by Josh Thorimbert. Howe made 12 saves and Thorimbert 23.

Cade Fairchild had a goal and two assists and Tom Serratore had a goal and assist for the Gophers.

Minnesota goalie Kent Patterson had 24 stops.
