Miner died trying to save fellow miner

OURAY, CO - More details are emerging about the two men that died Sunday.33-year-old Nicholas Cappanno went into a part of the mine where an explosion had been detonated and didn't come out.

His foreman, 59-year-old Rick Williams, went in after him and both died of lethal carbon monoxide from the blast.

A group of 20 miners also went in to rescue both Cappanno and Williams, but had to abort that mission after becoming sick themselves from carbon monoxide.

All 20 were taken to the hospital and have since been released.
