Mild Weekend

MILD WEEKEND

At 10am temperatures are warming up quickly across southern Colorado.  Temperatures were mainly running in the 40's to upper 50's.  Expect to see high temperatures topping out in the mid-40's to lower 60's this afternoon.

A weak system is sliding through Colorado today.  This will lead to increased cloud cover and also a chance for a few showers and snow showers (higher elevations west of I-25).  There appears to be enough instability in the atmosphere that could aid in the development of an isolated thunderstorm, generally east if I-25.  Any rain that develops should begin after 12:00pm and end later tonight.

Sunday should bring a bit more sunshine and temperatures a couple degrees warmer than Saturday.

EYES ON MONDAY

Computer models continue to indicate a potent system moving through Colorado Monday night through Tuesday morning.  All signs are pointing to the potential of a couple inches of snow for Colorado Springs and Pueblo.  Stay tuned... - Meteorologist John Dissauer
