It's going to be a great weekend to be out and about! Expect mostly sunny skies through the day today and then again Sunday with highs well above average. Temperatures today will top out in the 50s/60s with slightly cooler (though still mild) highs in the 50s across the lower elevations for the first day of the new week.
A cold front will move through Southern Colorado Sunday evening. Clouds will develop behind the front with areas of snow possible after sunset Sunday mainly along and west of I-25. Off and on snow will spread across the region into the day Monday. The eastern mountains and the Pikes Peak region have the best chance of seeing snow Sunday night through early Tuesday morning with isolated snow showers possible over the southern I-25 corridor and Eastern Plains. It'll be a very cold start to the workweek with highs in the 20s Monday.
The snow will come to an end before daybreak Tuesday leading to a mainly dry but still cold day with highs in the 20s/30s. Milder temperatures return Wednesday and look to stick around through the end of the workweek. The second half of the workweek looks dry for now east of the mountains with mostly to partly sunny skies overhead.
