Sunny to partly cloudy days (with isolated thunderstorms) and cool nights will be the rule into the weekend, as highs bump up to average, then a bit above.

Sunday will feature warm temperatures, with increasing clouds and wind, in advance of what's looking like a BIG change in the weather Sunday night and Monday as a powerful cold front moves in.

By Monday, highs will be at least 20 degrees cooler, with rain for the lower elevations and snow for the high country. (and some of that snow might slip to the foothills).

Tuesday will remain cool, with a lingering chance for showers.
