The weather from this weekend funnels over into much of the work week. Tuesday is when we'll see a few more spotty showers, but other than that, the week looks fairly dry, sunny and mild!
This evening, a few showers will be around, especially in the highest of elevations. There will be a few more showers around Tuesday afternoon/evening both in higher elevations and throughout the southeast, but this won't be a gully-washer. It'll be the scattered PM storms that are across the region.
As for temperatures, we'll be a couple degrees cooler on Tuesday because of the showers later in the day. But after that, the week looks really nice. Wednesday through Friday, we'll be partly/mostly sunny. An isolated shower in the high country can't be ruled out, but most areas don't see anything. And the temperatures will be very comfortable for the beginning of August. Normal highs are at 83 for Springs, 91 in Pueblo. We will stay within a few degrees of these normal highs for the end of the week.
Right now, the weekend forecast looks nice too. A few spotty showers each day, but otherwise partly sunny and seasonal.
Enjoy the work week... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
