TODAY: After some clouds in the morning for southern Colorado, we'll see mostly sunny skies by afternoon with temps slightly below average. The first day of summer will be another mostly dry day with only a very slight chance of an isolated storm over the mountains and higher elevations west of I-25.
TONIGHT: Starry and quiet...it will also be a little cooler for most of us thanks to the clearer skies.
FRIDAY-SUNDAY: First weekend of summer will be VERY hot with higher fire danger! High all weekend will be well warmer than average and actually close to tying or breaking some all-time record highs. Saturday and Sunday we'll have a slight chance for an isolated storm or two over the mountains and higher elevations. Dry....breezy & hot conditions continue for the plains. Tomorrow a FIRE WEATHER WATCH for Friday that includes: El Paso, Teller, Fremont, Custer, western Huerfano & western Las Animas Counties. This WATCH could and likely will be upgraded to a RED FLAG WARNING for extreme fire danger! We'll keep you posted.
MONDAY-TUESDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy, hot and mostly dry weather continues to begin next week. Again...there will be a slight chance for an isolated storm over the higher elevations.
