It's a mural with a message in Pueblo.
Jolene Norton, a high school student in Pueblo, won a poster contest with the Colorado Meth Project.
That's when several people in the community decided to create Norton's winning entry on a larger scale.
Ten people ages 14 to 22 took ten hours the past couple of days to complete the mural, and organizers believe it was a good lesson for the young artists.
"To understand how a simple idea that she created with a water color could become a major, major mural that has a nice, simple message," said Cynthia Ramu, an advisor on this mural project and coordinator of the Pueblo Levee Mural Project.
There will be a reception at the mural with the Colorado Meth Project Monday afternoon at 4:30.
It's on a levee on the Arkansas River off Santa Fe Avenue.
