Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee will miss six to eight weeks after suffering a torn medial collateral ligament. Some sources are reporting he also suffered a fracture in his leg during the Broncos 30-23 win over San Diego.

McGahee was injured at the conclusion of an 8-yard run in the second quarter on Sunday. He'd been optimistic the injury wasn't going to cost him any time, but an MRI revealed the damage.

McGahee will not need surgery, and he believes he can return in four to six weeks.
