New Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach outlined his hopes and plans for the city in a speech this afternoon. He said the honeymoon is already over, but being mayor is still a lot of fun.
Bach talked about revenue challenges, rising pension costs and infrastructure. He said people need to find more ways to become involved and "help our city."
Bach also promised meetings with city employees to get their ideas in front of the administration.
He pledged to work with the city council, pointing out he'll need a majority of votes on the council to further his agenda. He pledged to work with city council to find solutions and seize opportunities.
