Peyton Manning says he's "not even close" to being settled in Denver and learning a new system has been a "humbling experience" for the four-time NFL MVP.

Coming off four neck surgeries that sidelined him all of 2011, Manning made his regular season debut in an orange jersey with the Broncos against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

Manning, who is known for masking his emotions, was surprisingly candid in an interview with Tony Dungy on NBC's "Football Night in America." Manning told Dungy, his former coach in Indianapolis, he always thought he'd play for one team.

Manning spent 14 seasons with the Colts, and led them to a Super Bowl title with Dungy on the sideline in 2006. He became the most prized free agent in NFL history when he was released in March.
