Kids from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at Manitou Springs Middle School, along with one grade of students from Manitou Springs High School, have spent countless hours making lanterns of all shapes and sizes to showcase in their 4th annual Lantern Parade.

A yellow submarine, ladybug, and a flamingo filled the imaginations of kids, which they all made into large-scale artwork that glows.

Lanterns of many other shapes and sizes will be marched by the kids from Soda Springs Park to Mansions Park in Manitou Springs.

The parade starts at 8 p.m. tonight.
