Man threatens to blow up house

A very dangerous situation for Colorado Springs Police Officers and Firefighters Friday afternoon after a man threatened to blow up a house.
It happened in the 600 Block of Willamette. Police say a woman called police to say her ex-husband was threatening to blow up the house. When officers arrived, there was a strong odor of natural gas coming from the home. Officers attempted to contact the person inside, but no one answered. They were able to open doors and windows to let the gas out. They also turned the natural gas off to the house.
After several attempts to contact someone inside, they went in and found no one there. Police say the investigation is on-going.
