Man tased while resisting arrest for home invasion

Colorado Springs Police were called to an apartment at the Fireside Apartments located at 610 N. Murray Blvd. on the report of a home invasion. When officers arrived the suspect had already fled, but the victim told officers that she was awoken by a suspect later identified as 28 year old Jon Elder. She stated that the suspect entered her apartment and threatened to kill her. Elder was located near by at a neighbor's apartment. Elder was tased as he resisted arrest.
Through the investigation, it was learned that Elder lives in the same apartment complex. The victim reported no injuries as a result of the attack.
