Man takes off from test drive, police still looking for him

Colorado Springs Police are looking for a man who took a car for a test drive from a local dealership, but left the dealership employee at a gas station.

Police say they were called by an employee of Mike Shaw Buick GMC that was at the Acorn gas station at 8th St. and Cimarron St. just after 10:30 Saturday morning; the dealership employee told them the man he was on a test drive with took off with the car when he got out to put gas in it.

The car is a 2007 blue Ford Mustang with dealership (red) license plates. Police say they're investigating this as an auto theft.

The suspect is described as a 29-year-old white man with a shaved head; police say he's about 5'11" and weighs around 165 pounds. The man was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans at the time of the theft.
