Man shot in early morning attempted carjacking

Colorado Springs police are looking for suspects who shot a man in the leg during an attempted carjacking early Friday.

The victim told police he was sitting in his vehicle just after midnight when two people approached him and ordered him at gunpoint to get out. Police say one of the suspects then fired at the victim's leg three times, hitting him twice.

The suspects fled and the man that was shot is expected to survive his injuries.

The armed suspect was described as a black male, 20's, 6'02", 165 - 175 pounds, and wearing dark colored clothing.

The second suspect was described as a dark complected black male, 5'06" - 5'08", wearing a black and yellow baseball hat.
