Man shot by Walsenburg Officer during domestic dispute

Walsenburg Police have released a few details about an officer involved shooting that happened Sunday night.  According to a statement released Monday morning, two officers responded to a call on Stacy Drive around 9:30 Sunday night. 

One officer helped young children who were crawling out a front window, the other officer went to the back of the house and observed a domestic altercation.  That officer fired his weapon resulting in one injury to a man.  That person was taken by ambulance to the hospital.  The name of that person and seriousness of the injury is not known.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation was called in to process the scene.
