Man hospitalized in roll-over; speeding and drunk driving suspected

A Colorado Springs man is in the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries following a rollover crash along Garden of the Gods road Friday night.
Police say John Lightfoot, 42, was ejected from the pick-up truck during the crash and suffered a serious head injury. Terry Burrows, 42 was headed west on Garden of the Gods Road near 30th Street when at around 10:38 p.m. he lost control of the 1987 GMC pick-up and caused it to overturn.
Burrows was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault, driving under the influence of alcohol and other charges. Speed and alcohol are both considered factors in the crash.
