Man found dead yesterday died from stab wounds

A man found yesterday on a trail east of the Wal-Mart off S. 8th Street died of stab wounds. Colorado Springs Police are now treating this as a homicide.
The victim has been identified as Mr. John Knudsen, in his mid 50s, of Colorado Springs. Knudsen's death has become the 15th homicide this year for the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Colorado Springs Police ask anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area yesterday morning to call 444-7000.
