Man dead in Penrose, suspect detained

A man has been taken into custody in the shooting death of another man in Penrose this morning.
The shooting happened just before 9 a.m. One man was shot several times at a mobile home park in the 500 block of I Street in Penrose.
Another man was detained and is being questioned. Officers at the scene told News First 5 the victim did not live there.
Officers are awaiting a warrant so they can continue to process the crime scene.
