Man beaten by robbers at apartment complex

A man in his 50's was beaten by robbers in the parking lot of the Mountain View Apartments on Westmeadow Dr. in Colorado Springs.
It happened at around 9:15 Thursday night.
Police Officers say the victim was accosted by two young black men demanding money. They took his money, cell phone, and keys.
The suspects ran from the scene. K9 officers set up a track soon after the attack, but were unsuccessful.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and observation.
