Man arrested in Las Vegas robbery has Pueblo ties

A man arrested in a $1.5 millin robbery at a Las Vegas casino grew up in Pueblo.
Anthony Carleo has been a real estate agent in Pueblo and has been active in two businesses. One was a mobile DJ service, the other a limousine service.
Anthony Carleo grew up as Anthony Assad in Pueblo and in 2001 legally changed his name to Anthony Carleo.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Carleo is the son of Las Vegas Municipal Court Judge George Assad. Las Vegas police say Carleo was the motorcycle-helmeted robber who waved a gun, grabbed high-value casino chips and made off on a motorcycle before dawn, at the Bellagio Dec. 14. No shots were fired and no one was hurt.
