BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (AP) - Police have made an arrest in the death of a 45-year-old man whose body was found at a trailhead near a Breckenridge resort.

The Summit Daily News reports 50-year-old Gregory Scott Gavin was arrested Thursday near Keystone and faces charges of second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Authorities say the body of Karl Kohler was found in the woods at the Burro Trail trailhead near Beaver Run Resort on May 19. His death was ruled a homicide due to blunt-force trauma.

Summit County Undersheriff Derek Woodman declined to release any information about a possible motive in the slaying.
