Man arrested for sexual assault attempt

Colorado Springs, CO - Colorado Springs police have arrested a suspect on a sexual assault attempt.
Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Sable Chase Drive shortly before 1:00 a.m. regarding a sex assault in progress. A witness stated a woman had knocked on their door stating she had just been sexually assaulted at a house down the street. Investigation revealed the victim went to the suspect's address and after approximately one hour the victim stated the suspect became aggressive and tried to force himself on her. After a brief struggle the victim was able to flee the house and run to a neighboring house to call the police. The suspect, Michael Clennan, was later taken into custody and faces multiple criminal charges to include attempted sexual assault.
