Man arrested after altercation with deputy

A man was arrested early yesterday morning after he allegedly tried to take a deputy's gun.
It happened around 2 a.m. near Fontaine and Marksheffel. A Sheriff's Deputy was investigating two men in a vehicle parked in an open field. According to the deputy, one of the men got out and tried to take his gun. When unsuccessful, that man then ran away.
Later officers found Matthew Zoll, 24, in a mobile home park on Galley Road. He was arrested after another altercation. Zoll had four outstanding warrants for escape, theft, burglary and other charges.
