A fire alarm caused flurry of activity at the Pueblo County Detention Facility around 2:30 this afternoon.
Employees and visitors left the building, while inmates were placed on lock down status. The Pueblo Fire Department responded and checked the building for smoke or fire. The cause turned out to be a malfunction in a smoke detector.
Things were back to normal in about a half hour.
